Clipjaw respects copyright. If a clip made with Clipjaw infringes your work, tell us and we'll act.

What a notice must contain

Your name, address, email and signature.
The work you say is infringed.
The URLs of the clips, one per line.
A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
A statement that your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

Counter-notice

If we remove your clip and you think that was a mistake, reply to the notice email with your name, the clip, why you have the right to use it, and your consent to the jurisdiction of your local courts. We forward it to the complainant and, unless they file a court action, may restore the clip in 10 to 14 business days.

Strike policy

An account with 3 valid strikes in 12 months is suspended [TO CONFIRM: strike policy]. Accounts of repeat infringers are terminated.
